Make the show investment keep working

Your team has their attention.
What happens next?

Booth space. Equipment. Travel. Demos. Days of conversations with the people you want to reach.

When everyone returns to their regular workload, the relationship still needs attention. A buyer might be interested in your automation solution, tooling, software, or equipment long before a project is ready to move.

LinkedIn gives your people a way to remain part of that buyer's world: reconnect with a reason, answer the questions that came up at the booth, and continue useful discussions over time.

01 / Remember the context

Use the conversation while it is fresh.

Build follow-up around the application, question, or challenge you actually discussed at IMTS.

02 / Put the expertise to work

Give your show content a longer life.

Turn demo explanations, buyer questions, and technical lessons into content your network can use.

03 / Give the team a plan

Schedule the follow-through now.

Agree who will connect, what they can share, and how to keep the routine going when the show rush ends.

IMTS's own Exhibitor Planning Guide calls for prioritizing contacts, nurturing leads, and executing a structured follow-up plan after the show.

Inside your private training session

What you'll learn in the LinkedIn Enablement Workshop.

Trevor teaches all five Cs at a practical foundation level, connects each one to your IMTS follow-up, and answers your team's questions. Your people leave with a shared approach and a plan to apply it.

C1

Credibility

Look like the expert they met at the booth.

Clarify who you help, the problems you solve, and the proof a buyer should find when they check your profile.

IMTS application
Make the profile support the follow-up.

C2

Connections

Build a network around the right accounts.

Find relevant people, reconnect with visitors, and approach other buying roles with an honest reason to connect.

IMTS application
Carry real show relationships into your network.

C3

Content

Keep your expertise visible after the demo.

Turn recurring questions, application examples, and technical insights into useful posts that sound like your people.

IMTS application
Build content from the questions your booth attracts.

C4

Conversations

Give the next message a real purpose.

Use comments and direct messages to continue the discussion. Recognize when a relevant next step has earned a call.

IMTS application
Move from a shared challenge to a useful next discussion.

C5

Consistency

Make it practical enough to keep doing.

Set a manageable rhythm for connecting, sharing, and following up, with clear priorities and ownership.

IMTS application
Leave with a 30-day plan for continuing the work.

A foundation your team can use together. Includes live guidance, questions and answers, a participant workbook, and a 30-day self-guided action plan.

Talk through your team's goals

What useful follow-up can look like

Pick up where the booth conversation left off.

A salesperson remembers the application. An expert shares an answer. Marketing helps the team turn that answer into content other buyers can use.

The 5Cs give those efforts a common direction, with room for each person to sound like themselves.

Illustrative message after connecting

“Good speaking with you at IMTS about changeover time on your machining line. You mentioned the different part families were the difficult bit. I found the setup example we discussed. Would it be useful if I sent it over?”

Shared contextSpecific relevanceA useful next step

Use a message like this only when it accurately reflects the conversation you had.

Reach beyond the person who visited

Your next customer has a buying group.

Useful expertise can also help colleagues who never visited your booth understand what your team knows. Edelman and LinkedIn's 2025 research found that hidden decision-makers use thought leadership to evaluate vendors and can advocate for unfamiliar suppliers.

Built around manufacturing work

Real manufacturing experience shapes how Trevor trains your team.

Trevor spent more than a decade working inside industrial automation manufacturing at Phoenix Contact USA, alongside executives, engineers, product leaders, sales teams, and distributors.

That experience shapes his practical approach to LinkedIn training. In this workshop, your team learns the five Cs through the work it already does, with IMTS conversations and follow-up as the context.

Discuss your situation
Is this specifically for IMTS exhibitors?

Yes. This page and offer are for IMTS 2026 exhibitor companies. The workshop uses the complete 5C framework with IMTS conversations, networking, content, and follow-up as the practical context.

Does the $3,000 cover our team or each person?

It covers one private, two-hour live virtual workshop for your company, with up to 25 participants. It is not a per-person price. The usual workshop price is $4,500.

Who should attend?

Bring the people who influence buyer relationships: sales, marketing, leaders, product specialists, and technical experts. A mixed group can learn the same approach and agree how to support each other afterward.

Do you cover all five Cs in two hours?

Yes, at a practical foundation level: Credibility, Connections, Content, Conversations, and Consistency. The session includes examples and Q&A, followed by a workbook and 30-day self-guided action plan. The team continues applying the skills after the workshop.

Should we schedule before or after IMTS?

Discuss dates now so the follow-up has an owner and a place on the calendar. A session shortly after IMTS can use fresh booth questions and conversations. The workshop is live virtual, and timing depends on your team's availability and Trevor's schedule.

We already send follow-up emails. How does this help?

LinkedIn can complement your email and CRM process. Your team learns to build recognizable profiles, connect with relevant people, share useful expertise between direct touches, and continue discussions when there is a reason to do so.

Do we need Sales Navigator or daily posting?

A paid LinkedIn subscription is not required for the foundations covered here. The focus is a manageable routine with relevant people and useful content. Daily posting is not a workshop requirement.

Will this guarantee leads or booked meetings?

No specific number of leads, meetings, or sales is promised. The workshop teaches skills and provides a plan. Outcomes depend on the team's execution, network, offer, buyer relevance, and sales cycle.

How does the first-10 offer work?

The first 10 IMTS 2026 exhibitor companies that book a workshop qualify for the $3,000 price. Availability is confirmed during the call. A call request alone does not reserve a place. Scheduling and payment details are confirmed before you commit.

Is this an official IMTS or LinkedIn program?

No. It is an independent training offer from LinkedIn for Manufacturing, operated by TLR Consulting Group LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by IMTS, AMT, or LinkedIn Corporation.
